De-Escalation Update on Swimming Pool Guidelines (23/11/2020)

Both swimming pools are now closed for only one (1) hour between 12noon-1pm daily for pool water circulation disinfectant.Click to view update Pool SchedulesStill operates daily at 100% capacity (total number of people in the pool should not exceed 60).Still remains 2 hours per member.No pre-booking is required. 2-3 lap swimmers per lane observing social distancingNOTE:  Lanes 1 to 3 are closed at certain days/times for swim lessons, aquafit, diving training and school swimming.It is reminded that everyone should continue being diligent with their personal hygiene, social distancing and following guidelines by the Ministry including scanning your BruHealth QR code, temperature scan and hands sanitizing or washing.  Always practice social responsibility & physical distancing.  Limit physical contact and equipment sharing. ...

Swim Shop Update!!

The Swim Shop is closing down and will no longer be opening on a regular basis.We would like to say a big thank you to Shallon Machado for her time opening the shop each week, and to all those who have volunteered in the past to keep the shop running.Watch this space for details of pop-up closing down sales.

Use of Swim Nappies / Diapers

Dear ParentsKindly see below amended Pool Rules as to lower the rates pool contamination due to fouling. Infants/toddlers aged below 3 years MUST have “swim nappies/diapers” Incontinent children MUST not use main pool It is compulsory for ALL children who are not fully potty-trained to wear a swim nappy/diaper.The swim nappies/diapers are available from Club Member Services or after office hours from Serikandi Catering Office via Club Security Foyer.The fouling incident not only does it cause loss of access to a key Club feature, it also costs the Club thousands of dollars in chemicals with each instance of fouling.Always be conscious of and respectful to all other pool users.If we follow these simple rules everyone will enjoy the swimming pools.Panaga Club Management

Stingrays Group Lesson

Group lessons will resume from Monday 24th August 2020. A temporary modified lesson timetable will be sent this week via email.At this point in time our priority is getting existing Stingrays members back into swimming lessons.Once swimming pool restrictions are lifted further we will be in contact with those who have submitted an application for lessons.In the meantime, the swimming pool is open to all ages for lap swimming and leisure swimming. Bookings can be made via the Panaga Club website.

Weekly Spotlight - Swimming Section

The Stingrays Swimming Section has over 50 classes for all age groups and abilities in swimming. For children, StingRays has 2 types of lessons:- Group and Private.  For adults beginners we offer private lessons, for intermediate and advance level we offer Master class. We have  Aquafit Classes for adults want to get fit in the cool of the pool. Lesson Structure: Stingrays effectively has 9 swimming levels of group lessons to develop children's swimming ability.  This starts with: Baby Rays - for 2-3 yrs old children From 3 years, all levels are based on ability - technique in each stroke starting with freestyle (front crawl) and backstroke and the distance each child can comfortably swim without stopping.
