Activity Guidelines (Update: 3/7/2020)

A number of activities run from:
- Cricket Net from 7am to 5.30pm except Fridays, 7am to 6.30pm
- Golf Course from 7am to 5pm / Driving Range from 8am to 9pm

- Gym from 5am to 7.30pm daily except Fridays, 5am to 8.30pm
- Jungle House and MPH from 8am to 9pm
- Padang (field) from 7am to 9pm except Fridays, 7am to 10pm
- Pool from 5am to 8pm
- Skatepark from 7am to 7pm
- Tennis Courts from 7am to 10pm

Members are to use the Club only for the permissible activities set out below and not for socialising.  As the situation changes so will the offering of permissible activities.

The overarching principles we have applied when assessing which activities will be permissible are:

  • All physical contact activities are prohibited
  • NO sharing of equipment is allowed
  • No physical multiple touch points
  • Doubles or pairs is allowed
  • Maintain physical distancing of 1.5 meters apart
  • Gym, indoor & outdoor fitness - 90% depending on the size
  • Usage of locker and changing room/shower facilities are allowed
  • No spectators or sitting around the areas.

Further to this the club will operate on a one directional system so please obey the signs and do not loiter or stop to have close conversations.

If in doubt about any of this guidance please seek guidance from the Club Manager.

General Rules

  1. Scan QR code or PremiseScan upon entry (before activity/class) and exit from all facilities (after activity/class) and this is applicable to all ages including children. The Club will be able to reject your attendance if QR code is not available upon entry.
  2. Members only, NO day/week passes or guests allowed.
    Guests are allowed for dine-in only and must be accompanied by a Club Member at all times.
  3. NO lingering at the Club before/after activities. All activities MUST BE PRE-BOOKED ONLINE (except for Golf via telephone call) minimum 1-day in advance except for PANAS.  Please arrive and leave as close to your slotted times as possible.
  4. Activities are now limited to maximum 2 hours per member per day and maximum number of members in an activity or space will be confirmed by the relevant section in line with the guidance to operate spaces/activities at 90% capacity or as stated in below table.
  5. Maximum pre-booking 2 weeks in advance per activity.  No limits per week.
  6. Minimum 1-hour interval before the next group of members are allowed to enter.
  7. Entrance to Club only permitted through the Main Entrance.
  8. All entrants to the Club must undergo a temperature check and sanitize their hands.
  9. Security will review the result of QR Code Scan and entry will be subjected to member’s colour code. Allowed: Green and Yellow . Prohibited: Red, Blue and Purple.
  10. Security will perform random checks on entrants against the booking records.
  11. Follow social distancing indicators when queuing to enter the Club. Maintain 1.5 meters social distance.
  12. Sanitizing/sterilizing anything touched (door handles, counters, pens, etc).
  13. Children of all ages are allowed to participate in the permissible activities.
  14. Children from aged 6 upto under 12 years are allowed unaccompanied on club premises to participate in specific/activity/lesson and the child is to be collected immediately after the activity/lesson.  The parents are responsible to collect their child immediately after the activity/lesson and the child must wait for their parents in the club foyer or appropriate related area.
  15. Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by parents to dine-in.

NOTE: Any non-compliance to the guidance document will be taken very seriously, with consequence management applied, including removing access to the activity booking system and an interview with the Chair of the COVID19 Task Force.

MEMBERS RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Avoid physical contact (eg. Handshakes). Avoid touching face with hands. Members MUST use own towels to wipe faces and hands.
  2. Members are encouraged to wear masks, or/and gloves where applicable. Members are advised to bring own sanitizers for protection and encouraged to bring your own drinking water.
  3. No lingering/socializing in the club at all, before and after activity.
  4. Arrive and leave as close to your slotted times as possible.
  5. Use your own equipment. Sharing is strictly prohibited.
  6. When using an exercise mat, use a towel and lay it on your mat.

BOOKING DETAILS

To allow members have equal opportunity and ensure operations run smoothly.

  1. All activities must be PRE-BOOKED ONLINE (except for Golf via telephone call) minimum 1-day in advance per activity.  Please arrive and leave close to your allotted times as possible.
  2. NO booking for others allowed except Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Padang, Table Tennis and Tennis Courts.
  3. Booking will be first come first serve basis.

Online Booking is available for Bookings except for Golf and Tennis.

SWIMMING POOL

  • Max 1 member
    per lane

  • 3 lanes only - Lane 1, Lane 3 & Lane 5 (alternate lane to be used)
  • 1 hour per slot per lane
  • 3 days per week - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays @ 5am-8pm
  • Strictly aged 15 years & above only
  • No lessons allowed
  • Usage of locker and changing room/shower facilities are allowed
  • No physical contact sports and no sharing of equipment including section equipment

CRICKET NET

  • Max 5 players
    in a group
  • For Nets session only
  • For practice or training only
  • Members only, NO day/week passes or guests allowed
  • 7am-6.30pm
  • 2 hour per session
  • Must be pre-booked online minimum 1-day in advance
  • All players to Scan QR code or PremiseScan upon entry and exit through the MAIN ENTRANCE
  • Minimum 2 players and maximum 5 players at one time/session whilst maintaining social distancing
  • Allow half an hour interval before the next session
  • Net access shall be restricted to the batsman and bowler only All others participants shall wait outside the nets for their turn, always maintaining social distancing
  • Maintain physical distancing of 2 metres at all times
  • Bowlers shall use their own equipment
  • Bowlers shall bowl a full over (or more) between bowler change-outs to minimize ‘net traffic’
  • Batsmen shall wear batting gloves and shall not handle the ball during the nets session
  • Balls shall be retrieved by the bowler or kicked/knocked back to the bowler by the batsman
  • Balls will be sanitized after every session
  • Encourage to wear masks, or/and gloves where applicable
  • Bring own sanitizers for protection and encouraged to bring your own drinking water
  • Keep hands clean, use santizer before and after play
  • No physical contact sports and no sharing of equipment including section equipment
  • No spectators

GOLF

  • Golf Course

  • Children of all ages can attend tennis lessons and play singles tennis
  • Parents to ensure no lingering/socializing in the club and that children arrive and leave as close to their slotted times

LAWN BOWLS

  • For practice or training only
  • No handling of anyone else’s balls and/or equipment
  • No rolling jacks by freehand
  • Keep hands clean, use sanitizer before and after bowling
  • Leave grounds as soon as rollup over
  • No organized competitions

PADANG

  • Max 5 members
    in a group

  • 5 members in a group whilst maintaining physical distancing of 1.5 meters apart at all times
  • 4 half fields  - 1 group per half field
  • 7am to 9pm except Fridays, 7am to 10pm
  • 2 hours per slot
  • Must be pre-booked online minimum 1-day in advance
  • For training or practice only
  • Aged 5 years & above
  • No swapping or exchanging of player or group within the time slot
  • No physical contact sports and no sharing of equipment
  • Rugby is NOT allowed

ATHLETICS

INDOOR ACTIVITIES

JUNGLE TOTS

Max:

  • Tuesdays to Fridays Session -
    8 children excluding 1 parent or child carer
  • Saturdays Session (a drop off session) -
    10 children

  • Tuesday: Jungle Story with Stacy - for children of all ages
  • Wednesday: Jungle Babies with Nikki - for 18 month old and younger children only. Please bring a baby mat and baby toys for your child.
  • Thursday: Jungle Jingles with Katharine – for children of all ages. Please bring an instrument/shaker for your child.
  • Friday: Jungle Baby Massage with Marie – for 18 month old and younger children only. Please bring massage oil and a towel for your child.
  • Saturday: Jungle Yoga with Hanim – for children in Pre-nursery, Nursery and P1 only. Please bring a yoga mat for your child.

All children must be a member of Jungle Tots section.

Sessions will take place in Jungle House from 10.00 – 11.00.

The sessions are limited to 8 children and each child must be accompanied by only 1 parent / amah only.

Jungle Yoga (Saturday) is limited to 10 children who must be dropped off and the parent/amah must wait in the Panaga Club. Please ensure all children have been to the toilet before the session.

On arrival for a session:

  • Show your Panaga Club membership
  • Have your temperature checked (child and carer)
  • Scan in using the QR code (child and carer)
  • Use hand sanitizer that will be available or wash your hands thoroughly

No eating is permitted in Jungle House by adults or children.

All children and carers will leave the room and Jungle House timely and without socialising.

Please note that the Jungle Tots playground is still closed.  We ask all members to help ensure the Section abides by the guidelines of the Panaga Club.

LIBRARY

  • Max 4 members
  • Monday to Friday - 4pm-5.30pm
  • Saturday - 10am-11am
  • Subject to to volunteer availability
  • For children of all ages
  • 4 members per slot of 20 minutes per slot
    1 child with an adult is considered as 2 members
    Parents to book a slot separately for their child using parent's own login/detail
  • 10 minutes gap between each booking to minimize contact
  • The library will be sanitized before and after opening hours
  • Members can now borrow books as per the rules, i.e. 6 items per couple (or single status) and 2 items per each child
    A maximum of 3 DVDs can be borrowed at a time
  • The books will be loaned out for 3 weeks and magazines for 1 week
    Overdue books will be fined
    Reservation system will once again be put in place for any book not currently in the library
  • Loaned books can be returned every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Panaga Club during opening hours through the book return box outside the library

Guidelines for members coming to the library:

  1. Scan Bru Health QR code upon entry and exit from the library.
  2. All entrants to the Club must undergo a temperature check and sanitize their hands before proceeding to the library.
  3. Follow social distancing indicators when queuing to check out books. Maintain 1.5 meters social distance.
  4. Please try and minimize book touching and avoid reading in the library.

GYM

  • Max 16 members per single entry excluding Gym Instructor
  • 1.5 hours per slot per member
  • 5am to 7.30pm daily except on Fridays, 5am to 8.30pm
  • Allow 1hr interval before next group to disinfect equipment
  • Children from aged 16 years & above
  • Gym instructor to communicate in advance to advise on social distancing requirements upon arrival or booking and after finishing workout
  • Ensure the equipment that is used is 1.5 meters apart from the next person
  • Otherwise, wait for that person to finish
  • Wear gloves to wipe down the equipment with sanitizer
  • Dispose gloves after use

DANCE

  • For new students, please register using Online PDC Registration Form
  • Parents will hand over their child to the teacher or volunteer
    Parents are not allowed to stay inside the MPH including waiting area on MPH 1st floor including inside the Jungle House
  • The students must bring their own water bottles.  Unnecessary things like toys and things that might catch other children's attention are prohibited.
  • Parents must inform their children that strict discipline is going to be observed throughout the class
  • No loitering around after the class
    Parents must be ready to pickup their children on time

MUSIC

  • Effective 29th June 2020, resumes of full teaching schedule for all ages
  • Pre-booking with music instructor
  • Each student (and/or parent or guardian) must:
    a) have their temperature checked and sign in at Foyer Security
    b) scan the QR code using the BruHealth app on entrance and exit from their lesson
  • Parents/Guardians to avoid grouping and waiting outside lessons
  • No physical contact and sharing of instruments
  • Instruments in the classes to be sanitized before next lesson
  • Allow 1hr intervals before next lesson
