Priority on the Course
Groups playing the second nine of an 18-hole game have alternate priority over groups starting their first nine, except after 16:00 hrs on working weekdays, on both 1st and 10th tees.
Working weekdays
Working players have priority on 1st and 10th tees between 15:45hrs and 16:45hrs. Working players are those registered, reciprocal or approved visiting members who are normally employed full time in Brunei for 5 days per week either on a shift work or day work basis or registered members who are BSP employees working offshore.
The term office worker does not include non-working spouses, unemployed persons, children still receiving full education, recreational visitors and any other person who has ample opportunity to play mid week games prior to the restricted times.
The intent of this is to give a chance to golfers who have only a limited time to play, whereas non-workers are able to play without the restricted times.
On Fridays, ladies have priority if playing in a Competition.
Official match-play games (e.g. Club Championship etc) have priority on the course, and members playing social golf must allow the match to play through.
A single player, players sharing a golf bag, players starting their round on any hole other than the 1st or 10th, and players who have cut across between holes, have no standing on the course and must give way to players approaching from behind.
If a match fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the match following to pass.
Groups of more than four golfers are not permitted.
