Highlights: New Safety Fencing
New 8m high safety fencing is now nearing completion around the golf course. Following 4 ball strikes on Jalan Utara in early 2005, the PGC and the Panaga Club decided that there was no alternative other than the construction of safety fences in order to reduce the risk of this happening again.
Construction and installation started with the driving range fencing (240m) in October, followed by the 8th hole (200m), the 5th hole (51m) and finally the 6th hole (150m). Installation of the netted should be completed by mid December 2005.
