The Golf Course

The Panaga Golf Course has been remodelled many times over the years, but since 1964 the holes have been in more or less the same location as they are today.

The Front Nine (Likap Nine) now starts from in front of the PGC Administration Office (previously the 1st tee was between the 9th and 18th holes) and the turn is reached at the 5th tee, near to the Half Way House. Apart from the 9th hole, all the remaining holes on the first nine run parallel to Jalan Utara.

The Back Nine (Raja Udang) runs parallel to the South China Sea, and crosses the Sungai Panaga at the 11th hole. The turn is made at the 14th tee, near to the Half Way House, and other than the 17th hole which cuts across the golf course, all the remaining holes parallel the outward holes of the Back Nine.
