Environmental Improvement At The Panaga Club

You may have noticed the initiative this week to ban plastic straws at the Panaga Club. This is hopefully the first of numerous other actions to be taken to reduce the environmental footprint of our Club. We are looking for individuals who are interested in thinking about the opportunities we have to reduce the environmental footprint of the Club in its current form.

Project Hijau will address a number of larger issues, but in the meantime there is an opportunity to do more in terms of recycling, energy use, tree planting, reduction of certain materials etc. If you are interested to get together with a few like-minded people to think through the opportunities and to come up with some plans to be implemented by members in cooperation with the Club staff, then please send an email indicating your interest to the Club Operations Manager, Nisa Halim, s.hajiabdulhalim@shell.com. We’ll then contact you with a proposal to have an initial meeting.

Thank you for your kind attention, and caring for our environment.

Best regards,

Panaga Club Management Committee.

Playground Equipment

Dear Members

We have been experiencing significantly warmer weather conditions lately and we would like to advice our Members to take the necessary precautions while conducting outdoor activities during this time.

During this warmer period, we would also like to advice parents / caregivers to be mindful of the playground equipment surface temperatures considering their heat exposure under the sunlight.  This is necessary to avoid any burning potential to children.
