Ceiling Repair Works At Jungle House

Dear Members,

We would like to inform you that our contractors are currently repairing the Jungle House entrance ceiling.  Jungle House is estimated to be done by end of next week.

Work area has been barricaded and we advise all members to observe all safety signage and barriers.

Any inconvenience caused is highly regretted.  We thank you for your kind attention.

Regards,

Panaga Club Management Team.

Lost And Found

Dear Members,

The Panaga Club keeps up with our decluttering on a regular basis in order to avoid accumulating too much junk and outdated items.  We do the same to our Lost and Found.

If you feel that you have left anything at the Club and don’t know whom to approach, you may visit the Administrators’ Office and enquire within.  We still have some items from three years ago because we feel that they might be precious to their owners.  Drop by during office hours to have a look. Who knows, you might be reunited with a lost treasure.

However, everyone is still urged to take care of your belongings.  Check that you leave the Club with the same items that you came with.  Although we carry out our duty to keep items that are handed to us, or those that are found, items that are left around the Club premises are treated as being done so at Members’ own risk.

We also have rentable lockers that you might want to use.

Thank you for your attention and have a nice day.

Best Regards,

Nisa Halim

Operations Manager.

Reminder On Signing Of Resturant Orders

Members are reminded that, to ensure that the charges incurred for their order are as per their expectation, all orders need to be signed on the printed cashier receipt, and not on the paper Chit. To help streamline operations and reduce cost of chits and their environmental impact, you may choose to order directly at the Point of Sale terminal and sign the receipt immediately. Please remember to confirm that your Membership Number is correct and that the printed order and costs match your expectations.

Permanent Road Closure

Dear Members,

Following recent investigation on an incident that occurred at the Beach Shelter road, the Management Committee of Panaga Club will effectively block of the access road to the Beach Shelter from before the Lawn Bowls starting from Wednesday, 27 June 2018 . This is to ensure that the safety of Panaga Club members, their families and children are well taken care of.

You will see cones for now but we will be installing more permanent structures in due course.

For offloading or onloading of things that need the use of this road, Please get in touch with Geoffrey Sim at 7252325, or Security Guard on duty at 3375980.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your kind attention.

Best Regards,

Nisa Halim

Operations Manager

Note From President Of Panaga Club

Dear Members,

I would like to welcome David Hughes as the new President of our Panaga Club. David will start his tenure at the Management Committee Meeting this month and is stepping into the role at an exciting  time for our Club.

Activity level is high and quite varied across a wide range of Sections. And, although we have seen a reduction in the expat community, we still have a very energized club.

Our Club has, over the years, gradually seen the need for a ‘revamp’ as weather and climate have put their toll on the buildings. Project Hijau is in its early phase and members will be further involved in the weeks and months to come. The aspiration is to make the buildings ready for another 20-30 years with facilities that satisfy today’s activities and requirements and a focus on sustainability.

It’s been a pleasure to serve the club as a president and I wish David and the rest of the Management Committee all the best in the coming period.

Best Regards,

Bjorn W Melaa.

Panaga Club Festival Announcement

Dear Members,

The Panaga Management Team, along with the organisers of the Panaga Club Festival, would like to inform you that we are postponing the event to after the Summer Holidays.

The team feels that we needed more time to plan for its success, and can only get full commitment after the Raya festivities.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused but we do hope to see all of you after Summer!

Stay safe and take care.

Best Regards,

Management Team Panaga Club.

Beach Cleaning Supplies

Dear Members,

The Panaga Club Management encourages everyone to take ownership of the cleanliness of our beach.

We have bin liners and gloves for you to use if you feel like doing your own beach tidying. We have these inside the Security Hut by the Playground.  Do return the gloves back so that we could have them washed and reused by others.

We thank you so much for your proactiveness and may we always have Mother Earth in our minds.

Best Regards,

Panaga Club Management Team
