Panaga Club & KBBC – Tariff Schedule 2009

Panaga Club Membership – Subscription Fees

1) The monthly subscriptions, with effect from 1 January 2009 are as follows:

A. Full Members (Family) : $ 65.00

B. Associate Membership (Family except for B. 7) below :
1) Brunei Shell JV Companies Contractor
& Shareholders Members : $115.00
2) Government Members : $115.00
3) Brunei Garrison Members : $115.00
4) Retiree Members : $35.00
5) Special Members : $170.00
6) Corporate Members : $170.00
7) Mature Dependant Members : According to Parent’s Membership
8) Panaga Club Employees : $65.00
9) Reciprocal Plus : $105.00 per annum

2) A refundable deposit of $1,000 is required for B.1), 2), 4), 5), 6) and 7) as Parent’s Membership. The refundable deposit will be retained for up to three months from the date of approval of membership resignation and then returned less any outstanding debts with the Club at that point in time.

3) An advance card refundable deposit of $50 is required for all Associate Members except B.8) but B.7) as Parent’s Membership. The card refundable deposit will be refundable into their membership accounts except for B.9) by payment voucher after termination of membership and return of all membership cards.

4) Special Members shall pay a non-refundable joining fee of $1,500, in addition to a refundable deposit of $1,000.

5) Corporate Members shall pay a non-refundable joining fee of $3,000.

6) Members who resign are only allowed to re-apply after six (6) months from the termination date.

7) New expatriate employees of Brunei Shell Group of Companies and their dependants are entitled to free full use of the facilities of the Panaga Club, subject to the published rules, for a period of seven days from the arrival date. This authority includes the use of the Club credit facilities system.

Panaga Club Membership – Eligibility

A) FULL MEMBERS
Employees of the Brunei Shell JV Companies. Also employees of Shell EPA and Shell Deepwater Borneo (SDB) who’s salaries are paid through Brunei Shell JV Companies.

B) ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
(a) Persons residing in Brunei Darussalam
(b) Age 18 years or above
(c) An advance refundable deposit
(d) A separate advance refundable deposit for assurance of membership termination and return of membership card.

B)1) BRUNEI SHELL JV COMPANIES CONTRACTOR AND SHAREHOLDER EMPLOYEES
a. Employer is contracted or sub-contracted to, or is a shareholder in, Brunei Shell JV Companies
b. Sponsored by the Employer
c. Status equivalent to Senior Staff
OR
B)2) GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES INCLUDING RBAF AND RBPF
Status equivalent to Senior Staff (Division II and above or Sergeant and above)
OR
B)3) BRUNEI GARRISON EMPLOYEES
a) Status equivalent to Senior Staff (Sergeant and above)
b) Not subject to an advance refundable deposit except for Civilian Staff who are not invoiced collectively through and paid by Brunei Garrison Pay Master
OR
B)4) RETIREES
B)4)(i) SHELL RETIREES AND PANAGA CLUB EMPLOYEE RETIREES
a. Retirement from the Company as per current retirement age policy
i) For employees at the age of 55 except for Panaga Club employees
ii) For female employees (employed before 1 January 2007) who choose to retire at the age of 50
iii) For Panaga Club female employees at the age of 50
b. Having been a Full MEMBER of the Panaga Club for more than five years before retirement
c. For Panaga Club Employee – An Employee for ten years before retirement
d. For a Shell Retiree or a Panaga Club Employee Retiree who does not fulfill B)4)(i)b., to first pay as Full MEMBER of the Panaga Club for five years then as Shell Retiree or Panaga Club Employee Retiree thereafter

B)4)(ii) NON SHELL RETIREES
a. Over 55 years old
b. Associate MEMBER including Special Member of the Panaga Club for more than ten years
OR
B)5) SPECIALS
a. An employer or individual not directly contracted to Brunei Shell JV Companies
b. Status equivalent to Senior Staff
c. Subject to the discretion of the Membership Sub-Committee
d. A non-refundable joining fee
OR
B)6) CORPORATE
a. Transferable
b. Sponsored by the Employer
c. Subject to the discretion of the Membership Sub-Committee
d. A non-refundable joining fee and not subject to an advance refundable deposit.
OR
B)7) MATURE DEPENDANT
a. Children over the age of 21 of all members defined in paragraphs B)1), B)2), B)3) and B)5)., who are not in full-employment
b. Dependent on their parents
c. Sponsored by their parents and not subject to an advance refundable deposit.
d. Maximum two years only
OR
B)8) PANAGA CLUB EMPLOYEES
a. For current employees only
b. Not subject to an advance refundable deposit.

C) HONORARY MEMBERS
(a) His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam and such distinguished persons as the Company may designate
(b) Such persons as the Company may designate who have a standing in or relationship with the Company for the period of such standing or relationship
(c) Such persons who have served the Panaga Club as President
(d) Such persons, at the discretion of the Management Committee, who have served on the Management Committee for at least four years consecutively

D) FAMILY MEMBERS
Wives or husbands of all MEMBERS defined in paragraphs A), B) and C) excluding B)7), and the children of such MEMBERS up to the age of 21 who are not in full-time employment and are dependent on their parents.
