Aussie Rules Football

The newly formed Australian Rules Football Section will run the AFL Auskick program, for children aged between 5 and 12 years of age. The structured weekly coaching program, using coaching resources from the Australian Football League’s Junior program, will teach the skills of the game through appropriately modified activities and rules to children of Australian and other nationality families in Panaga. In addition it will give the children the opportunity to play football in a fun and safe environment.

The 1st coaching clinic/program will commence on Wednesday January 9th. As it is a series of skills based clinics, it is run over approximately 10-weeks and pre-registration is required. Further 10-week programs will be run throughout the year. It is anticipated that Auskick will be conducted on Wednesdays between 4.45 (for a 5pm start) to 6pm on the Padang. All players must be registered prior to participating in the program.

An Auskick Pack (which includes a football, backpack, hat, wallet and drink bottle) will be provided for all participants. A registration fee of $20 is payable to the section.
