T.W.O (To Welcome Others)

T.W.O (To Welcome Others) was formed some 5 years ago and have our own logo. We have a committee of 10 ladies and the aim of this group is to organise monthly events at Panaga Club where there is no charge to Panaga Members. This is a welcoming way for new people arriving in Brunei to meet others, and gives them an opportunity to socialise on a regular basis. All events are advertised on our poster's and database. Also details are included in the Panaga Club weekly newsletter.

The committee plans a monthly event, generally every second Thursday and we depend on volunteers in the community to give a talk, demonstration etc. If we are unable to arrange the Thursday morning with a topic then we would have an informal coffee morning. This happens around July/August when everyone is away on summer leave.

Festive Family Fun Day at the BSRC (Brunei Shell Recreation Centre Seria)

The Festive Family Fun Day is our main annual event which we started in December 2006. It involves registering for a stall and selling your wares or food stuffs. We also organise various activities for the children which include face painting, henna painting, hair braiding, children's craft corner and some entertainment. A family day for all to enjoy at the festive time. It has since become a popular and well known calendar event in the community.
