TADS - History
T.A.D.S. started life many years ago as P.A.D.S. (Panaga Amateur Dramatics Society), our back collection of programmes dates to 1970 and shows at that time it was a very active section, it’s aims being the same as today, to have fun and to bring high quality entertainment to the Panaga Club Members. The photos are just a few taken from productions over the last few years.
P.A.D.S morphed into T.A.D.S. (Theatre and Dance Section) in 1998 when the Dance Section came on board as a reduction in the number of volunteers and dance students threatened the viability of their section.
By 2003, a healthy growth in interest in dance brought about the split to P.D.C. and T.A.D.S. - the initials remaining the same, just a different name.
