Facilities

We are very fortunate with the facilities at Panaga Club. T.A.D.S. are custodians of the Main Hall stage, and environs, and we are always looking for ways to improve what is on offer for not only our section, but also other groups requiring a venue to put on shows. Backstage you will find a makeup room, dressing room and props store.

On the technical side,in 2003, the club purchased, and T.A.D.S. installed, a state of the art, lighting control desk, and are about to embark on a phased replacement programme of the control systems, old lights and other equipment most of which is 20+ years old. New sound equipment was taken delivery of and partially installed in November 2003, this project being completed in September 2005. Panaga club members are invited to learn how to use the equipment as we run three or four training courses each year. Only certified operators are allowed to use the equipment on behalf of their sections. If you have a technical background you may like to get involved with this side of Panaga club.

TADS has an extensive collection of costumes, dresses, wigs and accessories which are available for hire to individuals or local groups. Most of the costumes were made for previous shows but some have been specifically bought as ‘fancy dress’ - eg Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, Huggy Bear, etc..

T.A.D.S.’s Wardrobe can be found through the Kenyalang Kafe and is open for business every Wednesday, 4:30p.m. to 5:30p.m. There are also props and set pieces available for hire.
