Highlights: Robin Hood - the panto
TADS panto 2005 was Robin Hood, adapted from a script by Darren Edwards. As you would expect a panto version of the story pays lip service to the original story of our medievel hero we all know and love. Yes there is a Robin Hood, Lady Marion, Will Scarlet, Little John and not forgetting the evil Sheriff of Nottingham.
However our version gave us the 3 witches, Morgan, Gladys and Blodwyn along with an army of French Mercenaries, who helped / hindered the Sheriff, in his quest to rule all England.
Friar Tuck was not a balding monk, but an Italian chef knoown as Fryer Tuck as that was the extent of his culinary skils. And not forgetting 'Fluffy', Marion's roller blading, juggling pet dog.
Over 100 individuals were involved in this production, the majority being offstage. Maybe you would like to be involved with TADS panto for 2006, if so contact the TADS chairperson.
