Sunset Silhouette 2008

The Sunset Silhouette beach performance took place on March 8th 2008 and was attended by an audience of nearly 500. Many people volunteered and gave their time and energy to make this unique show possible. The students did a fantastic job. The show was directed and choreographed by Robert Policarpio, Gelo Guerrero and Glenn Hernando.

This time as well as hip hop and ballet our adult belly dancers also performed with their teacher Glenn. Again, a great evening out for everyone with the sun setting in the background.

The Four Seasons - July 5th 2008

The summer ballet production was once again choreographed by Robert Policarpio and allowed all the grades of dancers from the Panaga Dance centre to take part in a beautiful, woodland fairytale. The Panaga community was once again treated to a colourful story of wonder and magic with a classical musical score.

Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Exams April 28-30th 2008.

In April, the RAD exams took place. The students worked very hard towards this under the skillful guidance of Robert.

Ho Ho Ho – November 28th & 29th 2008

The Panaga Dance Centre’s end of year performance was packed full of Festive Spirit! Ho Ho Ho… incorporated an exciting mix of classical ballet and modern hip hop dances. Dance teachers Robert Policarpio and Gelo Guerrero created a colourful and fun filled show incorporating all classes from Grade 1 upwards. The visiting HipHop dancers from The New Skool Crew, Philippines, and guest ballet dancer Orlando de Leon added their own unique style. With a full house at each performance, the Panaga community was treated to a fantastic display of dance, enthusiastic energy and innovation.
