Panaga Windsurfing Section

Brunei doesn't boast the best windsurfing conditions in Asia but we have a fairly active section and a small range of club equipment available to all windsurf section members.

The equipment ranges from large, stable beginners boards to a 105 liters Freeride board, and the sails from 4.5 meters (mostly used for beginners) to a 9.0 meter V8 race sail for the more experienced and heavier sailors to use in light winds.

We also have limited amount of storage facilities at the Panaga Boat Compound for those of you with your own gear. There are board racks and sail slots where you can leave your sails rigged and ready to go.

We have recently had a three week refresher course aimed at getting people who have windsurfed before back out onto the water. This was a great success and I hope to see all those people on the water again now they have got their feet wet again. We are currently running a four week beginners windsurfing course, and are planning to repeat in July and September. The courses are limited to six people and I already have a number of people signed up for the ones in July and September so if you're interested please get in contact with me and I can add you to the list.
