Dear Panaga members,

The Panaga Club is bringing new life to the Windsufing Section and we will be announcing soon what we will be offering starting this year. To organize the new section we would like to get in contact with all owners of boards and sails that are currently stored at the Panaga Boat Compound. I'll try to update you all on the latest and greatest from the Panaga Beach - Panaga Windsurfing Newsflash!

Last Weekend

The winds were a bit lame so no sailing on Saturday but very nice conditions for the first course on Sunday. Light side-shore to offshore (oops). David was on the surfboard swimming around making sure no-one drifted away! There was a moment (about 20 mins) of some increased wind and Anne and myself went out, living that feeling of speed that I need every week! it was good but short.

Then the 2nd class started, but unfortunately shortly after the lightining alarms went off and we had to stop. Therefore, we'll do this class again next week.

New Gear
A final shipment of gear is coming this week that should interest the advanced surfers without private gear: a 120lt slalom board with a 9m sail! Unpacking and gazing on Saturday! (assuming fast customs clearance).

Members list
We've got some new members! We welcome Kim, Andres, Mauricio and Topher!  I still need to meet some of you to register and get rid of those red traffic lights :-).

Next Course...
As said, next week we will redo the last lesson. This will start at 13.30. After that (3PM) we will keep the programme clear for free sailing. Both the instructors and the new members look forward to this free-time to play with club boards.

I've got a list of names for the following course .  I suggest to start one on 7-Oct (after the long weekend) but then only one class so that from 3PM it is kept clear for free-sailing.
