About KBBC

On behalf of the staff and committee of Kuala Belait Boat Club, welcome to the KBBC Club House! The KBBC is a very active division of the Panaga Club and we are very proud of the activities that we have to offer.

The KBBC is located along the Belait River in K.B. "Kuala Belait" literally means "the mouth of the Belait River". Its name comes from "Kuala" meaning either confluence of two rivers or the mouth of a river, and Belait, the name of the river and district. It is also known locally as "Belait".

The KBBC offers a range of water activities, including Boating, Sailing, Rowing and Fishing. We have a fleet of optimist, topaz & laser dinghies, two dive boats "Naga Laut" meaning Sea Dragon" and "Naga Loncat" meaning Jumping Sea Dragon, one fishing boat "Malcom Douglas" and two powerboats "Croc" & "Nemo", Kayaking, Windsurfing, Diving & Rowing sections and the lovely 27,7 ft Beneteau yacht "Makan-Angin II" meaning Wind Eater.

At the KBBC premises we have a club house, a full time restaurant, boat storage, boat ramp, fuelling and boat maintenance facilities, a playground, splashpool and Petanque area with night lit pitches. In addition the KBBC has a boat yard and shed at the Panaga Club for our dinghy sailing from the beach.

Very proudly, the caterer Bernard Foo runs an "A" rated restaurant offering a variety of delicious Western & Asian dishes, dessert & breakfast, plus a great coffee menu. The playground & splashpool is available for childrens parties and the club is a popular location for private functions.

The KBBC is open 6 days a week to Panaga Club members. A top location in the K.B. area to enjoy the sunsets along the waters edge.
